Este proyecto persigue el propósito general de analizar la calidad de vida y la dinámica demográfica en diferentes contextos de la provincia de Santa Fe a comienzos del siglo XXI en procura de la compresión de nuevos procesos territoriales junto con factores asociados y, así, generar una contribución para el diseño de instrumentos orientados hacia la formulación de políticas públicas. Se propone avanzar en el análisis y comprensión de la espacialidad de la calidad de vida -que articule dimensiones socioeconómicas, ambientales y de servicios en el marco del desarrollo sostenible- y de la dinámica demográfica, por medio de su estudio a diversas escalas (regional, departamental, metropolitana, local e intraurbana, etc), a fin de reconocer nuevas configuraciones que coexisten al interior del territorio santafesino, conjuntamente con factores relevantes asociados. Es así como las hipótesis que orientan este proyecto de investigación parten de reconocer la existencia de desigualdades al interior de la Provincia de Santa Fe, y se pueden esbozar del siguiente modo: a) los diferentes patrones socio-espaciales en materia de calidad de vida y dinámica demográfica que coexisten al interior del territorio santafesino se relacionan con diferentes factores, tales como el tamaño demográfico del área de estudio, el crecimiento poblacional o la localización regional. Asimismo, se busca explorar la posible relación entre los índices de calidad de vida y la participación ciudadana; y b) la incidencia de tales factores es variable de acuerdo con las distintas escalas territoriales: regional, departamental, metropolitana, local e intraurbana, etc. El reconocimiento de diversos escenarios en materia de calidad de vida y de dinámica demográfica en función de ciertos factores, al interior del territorio santafesino, podría ayudar a identificar necesidades en los diversos territorios, los factores asociados y así, contrarrestar las inequidades territoriales existentes. This project pursues the general purpose of analyzing the quality of life and demographic dynamics in different contexts of the province of Santa Fe at the beginning of the 21st century. It seeks to understand new territorial processes along with associated factors. The intention is to contribute to the design of instruments aimed at the formulation of public policies. It is proposed to advance in the analysis and understanding of the spatiality of quality of life - which articulates socioeconomic, environmental and service dimensions within the framework of sustainable development - and demographic dynamics, through its study at various scales (regional, departmental, metropolitan, local and intra-urban, etc.), in order to recognize new configurations that coexist within the Santa Fe territory.
