In the complex categorical framework that delimits the notions of matter / materiality / materialism, the articles gathered here study a series of key problems for contemporary aesthetics and philosophy: the uniqueness of experiences, the problematization of temporalities, the search of new and diverse forms of community. And they do so by proposing singular perspectives of readings that oscillate among semantic materialisms, dreamy materialisms, random materialism, dialectical-immobile materialisms and posthuman materialisms. Los artículos que componen este dossier exploran el lugar activo que ocupa la imaginación de la materia en los procesos de materialización estética, al tiempo que despliegan su capacidad de agencia, de deseos, de afectos, de memoria y de participación histórica. En el entramado categorial complejo que delimitan las nociones de materia/materialidad/materialismo, los textos aquí reunidos abordan una serie de problemas claves para la estética y la filosofía en la contemporaneidad: la singularidad de las experiencias, la problematización de las temporalidades, la búsqueda de nuevas y diversas formas de lo común. Y lo hacen proponiendo perspectivas singulares de lecturas que oscilan entre materialismos semánticos, materialismos ensoñados, materialismo aleatorios, materialismos dialéctico–inmóviles y materialismos poshumanos.
