| Sumario: | This dossier explores the active place that the imagination of matter occupies in the processes of aesthetic materialization, while at the same time displays its capacity for agency, desires, affections, memory and historical participation. In the complex categorical framework that delimits the notions of matter / materiality / materialism, the articles gathered here study a series of key problems for contemporary aesthetics and philosophy: the uniqueness of experiences, the problematization of temporalities, the search of new and diverse forms of community. And they do so by proposing singular perspectives of readings that oscillate among semantic materialisms, dreamy materialisms, random materialism, dialectical-immobile materialisms and posthuman materialisms. |
