Sumario:Transformation in pampean agricultural world show the intimate relationship between its political, institutional and economic dimensions. This paper aims to analyse the crossing of two dimensions. On the one hand, the regulatory forms, that is, the set of public institutions that affect the development of agricultural activity in Argentina and, on the other hand, the socio–productive structure, that is, the main characteristics of actors that are implied in the agricultural subsystem. Both dimensions keep a close relationship although mediated by the different scales in which they operate. In the first case, of national character and in the second one of local or regional character. The article attempts possible structural articulations from the analysis of the changes in demographic and socio–labor variables, produced in concomitance with the agricultural transformation and the changes in the regulatory forms that gave it the institutional framework.
