We addressed its application according to official regulations and its effects in terms of educational segregation. It is an exploratory and descriptive study using a qualitative method, including interviews with teachers at elementary school in                                                    the city of Bahía Blanca −Buenos Aires, Argentina− who had to implement that educational tool in a context of inequality. The results of this work revealed that the digital divide, inequalities in household incomes, and the different educational strategies adopted by school teachers restrict the program proposed by the national government, uncovering an extension of educational segregation to the virtual environment. Este artículo analiza el programa Seguimos Educando, desarrollado por el Ministerio de Educación de Argentina como propuesta de continuidad educativa ante el contexto de aislamiento obligatorio por Covid-19. Se analiza su aplicación a partir de su normativa y sus efectos en términos de segregación educativa. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio y descriptivo, utilizando un método cualitativo, a partir de entrevistas a docentes del nivel primario de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, a quienes se les propuso dicha herramienta educativa en un contexto de desigualdad. Los resultados del trabajo indican que en la ciudad estudiada la brecha digital, las desigualdades en el capital económico de las familias, y las distintas estrategias educativas adoptadas por los docentes significan un límite al programa propuesto por el gobierno nacional, el cual no registró una aplicación efectiva en los docentes entrevistados. Asimismo, se evidencia una extensión de la segregación educativa en el plano virtual.
