La temática de esta investigación se centró en el acceso a la salud de las mujeres trans en el Hospital Iturraspe y el CEMAFE, ambos de la ciudad de Santa Fe. Para ello se buscó indagar y profundizar acerca del tema a través del análisis de fuentes secundarias, como así también observaciones, registros, entrevistas semi- estructuradas a profesionales y dos encuentros utilizando la técnica focus group a partir de voces de mujeres trans teniendo como punto de partida la Ley de Identidad de Género N° 26.743. Ésta reconfiguró los diálogos y tensiones entre los equipos de salud y la población trans en el marco de un proceso global de transformación del rol de lxs pacientes y de crítica a determinadxs profesionales de la salud, tales como lxs médicxs. A lo largo de este trabajo podemos evidenciar que más allá de la sanción de la Ley continúan existiendo brechas con esta población aún vulnerada, donde el sistema de salud no es garantía de accesibilidad para todxs. El trabajo, que trata sobre un tema de vacancia en Argentina, busca aportar a que lxs profesionales que atienden a mujeres trans aborden la temática desde una lectura con perspectiva de género, que contemple la salud integral para que la igualdad de derechos y oportunidades sea una realidad en todos los sistemas de salud por lo que nos resulta de gran entusiasmo analizar e invitar a construir conocimiento acerca de este colectivo históricamente vulnerado, más específicamente en el área de salud. The theme of this research focused on access to health for Trans women at the Iturraspe Hospital, both in the city of Santa Fe. To do this, we sought to investigate and deepen the subject through the analysis of secondary sources, as well as observations, records, semi-structured interviews with professionals and two meetings using the focus group technique based on the voices of trans women, taking as a starting point the Gender Identity Law No. 26,743. This reconfigured the dialogues and tensions between health teams and the Trans population within the framework of a global process of transformation of the role of patients and criticism of health professionals, stories such as medical ones. Throughout this work, we can show that beyond the enactment of the Law, there are still gaps with this still violated population, where the health system is not a guarantee of accessibility for everyone.
