El análisis del riesgo país ha sido durante mucho tiempo una herramienta esencial para evaluar la estabilidad económica, política y financiera de las naciones de todo el mundo. A pesar de su uso generalizado en la evaluación de las inversiones corporativas en países extranjeros, así como de los bonos soberanos, su aplicación al ámbito de los fondos de inversión latinoamericanos sigue estando, hasta la fecha, muy poco explorada en la literatura académica. Country risk analysis has long been an essential tool for evaluating the economic, political, and financial stability of nations around the globe. Despite its widespread use in assessing corporate investments in foreign countries as well as sovereign bonds, its application to the domain of Latin American investment funds to date remains largely underexplored in academic literature. The given thesis therefore investigates the impact of country risk analysis on the performance, allocation, and risk profiles of Latin American investment funds.
