Sumario:In the context of the balance and perspectives of the Public Legal Defense in Colombia, there is an important question to make: has the Colombian State adequately confronted the problem generated by the multiple sentences and the numerous and onerous lawsuits? The answer is unequivocal. The Public Legal Defense in Colombia presents, without a doubt, important advances. However, these advances, insufficient and even in some cases counterproductive, show a long way to go.
