En este artículo se presenta la situación del acceso al agua en un grupo de comunidades indígenas de la región Loreto, en el marco del estado de emergencia nacional a causa de la propagación del Covid-19. En la primera sección se describen las condiciones de acceso al agua; seguidamente, se expone el régimen normativo del agua para a partir de ello determinar si las condiciones con las que se presta en dichas comunidades son las adecuadas. Por último, se realiza una breve reflexión sobre los aspectos que requieren ser evaluados e implementados para hacer frente a situaciones de emergencia.
