Weorganized the analysis of the experience into four sections:the first one takes up the general framework of theemergence of the master's degree project; the secondsection describes design and implementation features of the second cohort, especially aimed at managersin the provincial education system; and the third onedescribes the development of two instances of this trainingprocess: a Final Work-Support Workshop andInternships. Both were relevant to academic productionand in light of the discussion on management practices.Finally, reflections are shared around the implications ofthis experience, which are considered as contributionsto both the improvement of a process of managerialtraining and the optimization of public policies sharedby university and MEP. En el presente artículo describimos y analizamosparte de un proceso de formación de posgradorealizado en el marco de un convenio entre la UniversidadNacional del Litoral (UNL) y el Ministerio de EducaciónProvincial (MEP): la Maestría en Políticas Públicaspara la Educación (MPPE). Dicha Maestría tuvo comoobjetivo brindar marcos conceptuales y metodológicosvinculados con la gestión y el gobierno de las institucionesa diferentes escalas y niveles dentro del sistemaeducativo, centrados particularmente en la provincia deSanta Fe. Organizamos el análisis de la experiencia encuatro apartados: el primero, retoma el encuadre generaldel surgimiento del proyecto de maestría; el segundo,describe momentos del diseño y la implementación dela segunda cohorte especialmente destinada a directivosdel sistema educativo provincial; y, el tercero, describe eldesarrollo de dos instancias propias de este proceso deformación: un Taller de Acompañamiento a la escriturade los Trabajos Finales y la Pasantía. Ambas resultaronrelevantes en el apoyo a la producción académica y a laluz de la discusión sobre las prácticas de gestión. Finalmentese comparten reflexiones en torno a las implicanciasde esta experiencia, que se consideran aportes parala mejora de un proceso de formación de directivos asícomo también para la optimización de políticas públicascompartidas entre la universidad y el MEP.
