It proposes a round for the social sciences in school, the problem of interdisciplinarity in high school discipline and a look about how this space is worked in different schools. It historicizes how this articulated curriculum space arose, both in theory (analysis of national and provincial regulations, didactic conceptions that support it, provincial programs) and in practice (classroom analysis through interviews, surveys and planning). It is concluded that one of the reasons why the Seminar in Social Sciences presented serious difficulties for its implementation was the interdisciplinary nature proposed in a disciplinary school (and teacher training). El presente artículo es una reflexión acerca de cómo se implementó el espacio curricular Seminario de Ciencias Sociales en las escuelas secundarias de la ciudad de Rosario, tras la reforma curricular que se produjo en la provincia de Santa Fe en el año 2014. Se propone un recorrido por las ciencias sociales en la escuela, el problema de la interdisciplinariedad en la secundaria disciplinar y un paneo acerca de cómo se trabaja en distintas escuelas este espacio. Se historiza cómo surgió este espacio curricular articulado, tanto en la teoría (análisis de normativa nacional y provincial, concepciones didácticas que lo sustentan, programas provinciales) como en la práctica (análisis de aula a través de entrevistas, encuestas y planificaciones). Se concluye que una de las razones por la cual el Seminario en Ciencias Sociales presentó serias dificultades para su implementación fue el carácter interdisciplinario que se propone en una escuela (y una formación docente) disciplinaria.
