This institution was signposted in 2013, because it was a clandestine detention center (CDC) during the last dictatorship. Instead of that, the educative community resists to accept this fact. We analyze this case into the national history, using oral testimonies, class records, bibliography about this problem, testimonial literature, judicial and journalist sources. En el presente artículo estudiamos los modos en los cuales se recuerda el pasado reciente en la Escuela Nº 185, “Coronel Álvarez Condarco” de la ciudad de Paraná (Provincia de Entre Ríos - Argentina). Esta institución, que se encuentra señalizada desde el año 2013, funcionó como Centro Clandestino de Detención (CCD) durante la última dictadura cívico-militar. No obstante, en la comunidad educativa existen fuertes resistencias a aceptar esta realidad, que fue invisibilizada durante casi 40 años. Atento a ello, analizamos el caso dentro del marco nacional, apelando a testimonios orales, registros de clase, bibliografía específica sobre el tema, literatura testimonial y fuentes judiciales y periodísticas.
