The methodology was centered in qualitative and descriptive nature. Semi–structured interviews with students, teachers and coordinators were made. The purpose is to understand the process related to the Program. The conclusion of this research is the hierarchies are presents at UFRRJ, being the same attested by his own agents, when evidence they are established in different aspects in academic life.   El objetivo de esta investigación es verificar la existencia de un campo de disputa entre las Ciencias Humanas y Sociales, Exactas, de la Salud y Naturales; así como la identificación de jerarquías dentro de la propia Universidad Federal Rural de Río de Janeiro (UFRRJ) y las oportunidades que la misma ofrece a sus estudiantes. La metodología se centra en la naturaleza cualitativa y descriptiva. Fueron realizadas entrevistas semiestructuradas con alumnos, profesores y coordinadores, con el objetivo de entender los procesos que están vinculados al Programa Ciencias sin Fronteras (CsF). La conclusión de la investigación es que las jerarquías entre diversas áreas de conocimiento están presentes en la UFRRJ, siendo las mismas testadas por sus propios agentes, cuando evidencian que están establecidas en los diferentes aspectos de la vida académica.
