In both texts a tension between the stream of consciousness of the poet and the composition of the poem results in an epiphanic writing marked by tensions between the time of the events and the ecstatic nature of the poem. Este artículo considera dos casos de textos narrativos sobre la escritura de un poema, el relato “Sombras sobre un vidrio esmerilado” (1966) del argentino Juan José Saer y la novela Sin remedio (1984) del colombiano Antonio Caballero. En ambos textos la tensión entre el fluir de la conciencia del poeta y la concreción de versos del poema resulta en una escritura epifánica marcada por tensiones entre el tiempo narrado y la naturaleza extática del poema.
