Incidencias en el control de la gestión pública ambiental Alianak, Raquel Cynthia The paper analyzes how the internal control scheme of public management and specifically of environmental public management, is not a task to be performed once a year when the auditors arrive, but should represent a real commitment within each government body, at all hierarchical levels, so that each of them meets the role that has the authority to, in the control of plans, programs and projects to verify their developments and the achievement of the proposed results. We emphasize and insist on the fabulous tool of free access to information (and here we have the social control of public management), involving not only the data that citizens may ask to be informed, but also all the information that must be furnished within what has been called " active transparency " in the budget, financial aspects, and the concrete results of programs, plans and certain public policies. In short, we promote greater democratization of public administration; effective accountability; greater social participation in their control, and greater mutual responsibilities. El trabajo analiza cómo el control interno de la gestión pública, y en particular de la gestión pública ambiental, no es una tarea a ser desarrollada una vez al año cuando llegan los auditores, sino que representa un real compromiso dentro de cada órgano y ente administrativo, en todos sus niveles jerárquicos, de modo que cada uno de ellos asuma el rol que le compete en el control de los planes, programas y proyectos , a fin de verificar su desenvolvimiento y el logro de los resultados propuestos. Se enfatiza e insiste en la fabulosa herramienta del libre acceso a la información (y aquí tenemos el control social de la gestión pública), que involucra no sólo los datos o información que los ciudadanos pueden solicitar que les sea brindada, sino asimismo toda la información que debe ser publicada y/o entregada dentro de lo que se denomina “transparencia activa”, en temas presupuestarios, aspectos financieros, actividades del Estado en todas las áreas,  así como los resultados concretos de programas, planes y de ciertas políticas públicas. En síntesis, propiciamos una mayor democratización de la administración pública, la efectiva rendición de cuentas de su gestión, una mayor participación social en su control y mayores responsabilidades mutuas.
