The article shows that in both provinces the parties or electoral fronts adapted their strategies so that the quota provided for in the regulations becomes the ceiling for female participation instead of a starting point that can be expanded by adding to their ballots more women candidates than the minimum required by law. Therefore, these marginal positions in voting lists are also manifested when power is distributed within parliaments. The article concludes that the existence of gender bias when appointing legislative authorities lies in the fact that this decision is a power that the political forces retain and, consequently, the assignment of hierarchical positions within the Chambers reflects the same gender bias that these hold at the time of forming the lists. A partir de revisar la integración de las Cámaras de Diputados y Senadores en Entre Ríos y Santa Fe durante el período 1983,2022 desde una perspectiva de la representación descriptiva, este artículo se cuestiona acerca de los mecanismos que favorecieron el ingreso de mujeres a bancas en ambas provincias, al tiempo que también observa qué cargos ocuparon en la organización de las jerarquías parlamentarias. El artículo muestra que en ambas provincias los partidos o frentes electorales adaptaron sus estrategias para que el cupo previsto en la normativa se convierta en el techo de la participación femenina, no en un punto de partida que pueda ser ampliado a partir de sumar a sus boletas de candidatos más mujeres que el mínimo exigido por la legislación. En consecuencia, estas posiciones marginales en listas de votación se manifiestan también al momento de distribuir el poder dentro de los parlamentos. El artículo concluye que la existencia de sesgos de género al designar las autoridades legislativas radica en que esta decisión es una potestad que conservan las fuerzas políticas y, consecuentemente, la asignación de cargos jerárquicos al interior de las Cámaras refleja el mismo sesgo de género que estas sostienen al momento de conformar las listas.
