The project departs from the hypothesis that, at the provincial level, there is no adequate characterization of the environmental protective action (Amparo), despite having specific legal regulations. Among its specific objectives, we propose to describe and characterize the environmental protective action (Amparo) as a procedural instrument for access to justice. In relation to its method, it is exploratory, descriptive, in a temporal-spatial location that encompasses the field of the Administration of Justice in the Province of Córdoba in the period 2014-2018, and whose analysis implies the political and institutional context in which it has been developed. El presente trabajo expone los avances del Proyecto de Investigación actualmente en ejecución, en el ámbito de la Universidad Católica de Córdoba, Argentina. El proyecto parte de la hipótesis que a nivel provincial no existe una caracterización adecuada del amparo ambiental, pese a tener regulación legal específica. Entre sus objetivos específicos planteamos describir y caracterizar el amparo ambiental, como instrumento procesal de acceso a la justicia. En relación con su método es exploratorio, descriptivo, en una ubicación temporal-espacial que considera el ámbito de la Administración de justicia, en la Provincia de Córdoba, en el periodo 2014-2018, y cuyo análisis implica el contexto político e institucional en el que se ha desarrollado.
