Sumario:The aim of this papers is to organise a model for further development of the Historical Thinking. This organization is the outcome of a previous PhD study carried out at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, which enquired into the development of Historical Thinking in initial teacher training in six Universities (Chávez 2020). The method used to acquire data was qualitative. The data comes from the interaction between participants’ persectives and observation at universities, as well as literature review. The distinctive features of this proposal from previous studies (Duquette, 2011; Hassani, 2005; Martineau, 1999; Santisteban, 2010; Seixas y Morton, 2013) are: It has been thought to promote Historical Thinking from a teaching context, which is based on the interaction between theory and practice. Besides, its structure includes dimensions, components and indicators which aids to teaching the discipline.
