La tesis se propone una indagación teórica sobre la toma de decisiones en educación y algunos aspectos vinculados a su dimensión ética y política. La perspectiva es la de la implicación de quienes asumen un lugar de autoridad y deciden a escala institucional, entendiendo esta implicación como principio de subjetivación política ya que supone un compromiso frente a otros y un ejercicio cuya legitimidad debe ser puesta en cuestión. No se aborda de la educación más que lo concernido por esta preocupación, que lleva a interrogar la responsabilidad y a situarla tanto en la dimensión espacial de lo público, que construye sentido inter homines haciendo mundo, como en la dimensión temporal de la brecha entre el pasado y el futuro, de la transmisión de lo humano entre generaciones. Gran parte de la indagación se apoya en las ideas de Hannah Arendt. Tomando su propuesta de ver en los conceptos sólo “señales indicadoras” que permitan orientar la búsqueda, el trabajo se estructura sobre las tres dimensiones que para ella resultan pilares de la experiencia: el mundo, el pensamiento y la acción. Se toman los aportes de Jacques Rancière y de Paul Ricoeur, fundamentalmente, para pensar la ficción como estructura de racionalidad y lo que se puede delinear como una poética de la acción política, que en un capítulo anexo se identifica en la potencia de generar nuevas significaciones a través de algunas decisiones que todavía resuenan en la institución que dio marco a estas reflexiones This thesis proposes a theoretical inquiry into decision-making in education and some aspects related to its ethical and political dimension. The perspective is the involvement of those who assume a place of authority and decide at an institutional level, understanding this involvement as a principle of political subjectivation since it implies a commitment to others and an exercise whose legitimacy must be questioned. Education is addressed only as implied by this concern, which leads to questioning responsibility and placing it both in the spatial dimension of what is public, which constructs meaning inter homines making world, and in the temporal dimension of the gap between the past and the future, of the transmission of the human between generations. Much of the inquiry rests on the ideas of Hannah Arendt. Taking her proposal to see in the concepts only "indicator signals" that allow to guide the search, the work is structured on the three dimensions that appear for her as pillars of experience: the world, thought and action.
