Especialmente entre los adolescentes, existe una alta demanda de integración relevante de la diversidad en el proceso de aprendizaje con el fin de mejorar su motivación y su competencia para contrastar y adquirir elementos lingüísticos dentro de una perspectiva cultural, como se propone en el nuevo currículo nacional de lenguas extranjeras. Los adolescentes generalmente no pueden encontrar la conexión entre las funciones lingüísticas prescritas en el programa áulico y su realidad local personal. La mayoría de estos estudiantes nunca han visitado una gran ciudad, ni siquiera han viajado en avión o en subte. Por lo tanto, la interculturalidad junto con el uso de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) pueden mejorar el aprendizaje efectivo de EFL. Las tradiciones locales pueden introducirse en el programa de estudios junto con las que pertenecen al idioma de estudio para aumentar la conciencia cultural con una amplia gama de tareas específicas basadas en la tecnología. Especially among adolescents, there exists a high demand of relevant integration of diversity in the learning process in order to improve their motivation and their competence in contrasting and acquiring language items within a cultural perspective, as it is proposed in the new national curriculum for foreign languages. Adolescents generally cannot find the connection between the linguistic functions prescribed in the syllabus and their personal local reality. Most of these students have never visited a big city, not even travelled by plane or underground before. So, interculturality along with the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can enhance EFL effective learning.
