Durante esta tesis, se hará una breve descripción de los orígenes, razones y composición de estos bloques de integración, así como las ventajas que representa ser parte de ellos. Además expondré la posibilidad de firmar un acuerdo de libre comercio entre ambos bloques, cuáles serían las ventajas y desventajas de esta firma, así como los obstáculos que se han presentado hasta hoy para este resultado. Debido a la nueva política de comercio exterior recientemente anunciada por el presidente Trump y su impacto en el comercio mundial, trataré de demostrar que la UE y Mercosur son posibles perfectos aliados para el comercio bilateral debido al reciente proteccionismo estadounidense. Finalmente, se analizarán los principales beneficios para el bloque europeo y sudamericano que representa la firma inminente de un acuerdo de libre comercio y cuáles serán las implicaciones que esto traerá a los países miembros de los bloques. During this thesis, will be made a brief description of the origins, reasons and composition of these integration blocs, as well as the advantages that represent being part on it. As well as the possibility of signing a free trade agreement between both blocs, which would be the advantages and disadvantages of this signature, as well as the obstacles that have been presented until today for this result. Due to the new foreign trade policy recently announced by President Trump and its impact on the world trade it will try to demonstrate that the EU and Mercosur are possible perfect allies for the bilateral trade due to the recent American protectionism.
